I was wondering if anyone else is like me and plays this game mainly to shape their future GT5 garage using the export feature.

Sadly because I don't have that much time to play the game, and there isa 72 day cycle between cars reappearing I find myself 90% of the time running 1 lap races at Le Sarthe Old on S class to earn 101,000 a race and hopefully have about 6,000,000 in the bank each time Bugatti shows up.

In the main I'm trying to collect the Bugatti Veyron colour schemes and have 6 of them currently, along with the supercars of the last ten years such as the Enzo, Ford GT, SLR Mclaren, ZR1, Nissan GT-R.

Some of the cars especially the more fantasy cars such as the Polyphony F1 car etc I'm wary of buying because I'm not convinced they will make GT5. Another fact is you can buy the Ferrari F2007 in GT5P for 2,000,000 but in GT PSP it is 8,000,000.

I don't think it has been officially confirmed that 100% of the GT PSP collection will make GT5 so sometimes a car I'd like to buy I have to pass.

You can export GTPSP cars to GT5?! :embarrassed:

Regarding the GT5P F2007 costing 2,000,000 credits and comparing it to GTPSP F2007 at 8,000,000 credits, I think it's way easier to make money on GTPSP, hence rendering the big price difference a bit useless. (imo.)

^^ that has been stated as a feature. But then again many more things have been stated in the past.

I try to get all cars. Just for fun and honour.

hugo24, don't you get bored racing 1 lappers on Le Mans? Cycling between all tracks (except big and small test track) gives much more pleasure in playing GTpsp.

I don't have the F1's yet but I will buy them for sure.

The Polyphony F1 isn't as good as you might think. I just drove it around Nurburgring and it isn't exactly what you call good..

Not all cars are shareable (mostly the ones you would want to share) aswell as not all cars can be traided, even some cars cant be traded or shared.

I highly doubt that all the cars will make it to GT5, but there is no way of knowing until they release a complete car list or drop the game.

Im out to get all the cars I want, I got CFW so I got plenty of cash, and can change the days to buy the cars I want. If your going the Pokemon rout (gotta have em all) Sharing your garage and trading cars with somebody who has CFW like me would be of great help. I have Verons in every color & have traded them (not shareable) with peeps for cars worth WAYYYY less to help them out as I can replace it whenever I want.

BEWARE of sharing cars because I believe it will produce doubles of cars you already have (yeah 2 same car same color), and there is absolutly no way of getting rid of the doubles. I shared my garage with somebody and when you do so it also checks if they have cars you want to take, when I did this it produced some doubles.

Ive also had trouble sharing cars with PSP Go's. I dont know why, but I cant seem to share my car list with somebody who has a Go. Ive tried a direct connection & through ad hoc party with the same results.

The Polyphony F1 isn't as good as you might think. I just drove it around Nurburgring and it isn't exactly what you call good..

Its pretty good, since it can produce the fastest lap times in the game (Thats right the PD F1 is the fastest car in GT PSP) In the right hands it beats the F2007 & everything else in the game.

Keeping in mind it does take some serious skills to drive it (ohh a good trick to help it out is to increase the DF and tweek the toe to the extream using the toe settings from the F2007) Even still its a handfull and not a car I would recomend to the average driver as its too much of a car for most.

Yes, the prospect of importing cars into GT5 affects my purchasing decisions. I suck at driving the high powered cars with the PSP controls. If it weren't for GT5, I would be only be buying the lower power vehicles. I am very much enjoying the Lancia Stratos '73 right now. But I buy cars knowing that they will be fun to drive in GT5.

I have been avoiding sharing and trading because I want it to feel like I earned it when I import my cars into GT5. Hopefully, all cars will be able to be imported not just the shareable/tradeable ones. I just kind of assumed that every car in GT PSP will appear in GT 5.

Yeah buddy, that is the reason I got a PSP! I try to take into acount if they prize cars or if they were rare used ones in older games. Once I got the cars off of PSN I had all my favorites, so now I look for ones that would be good for the 2player battle in GT5

1. you can import your psp car collection to gt5 (its been announced that 'every car from gt psp is in gt5' by kaz himself).
2. it has definetly affected how i play gt psp, i have collected over 300 cars, including at least half of the group c cars, the vast majority of the group b cars, the polyphony f1 car, the veryon, enzo, rally cars, touring cars, but while you may think this is good, i would say it is spoiling my enjoyment of the game because i am worried that if i start to play the other tracks or the sim mode, it will slow down my progress and i wont get what i call the 'good' cars before... sorry IF gt5 comes out.

yes. I just bought a z3 M coupe. It's a horrble car, but my racig cockpit will find one of it's seats strapped to it next month. When GT5 comes out, it'll get quite a lot of use, I'd imagine.

I really got gtpsp without even thinking about it (built my pep from 3 broken ones, and got gtpsp as a present), but when I play it, there's a lot of "looking-forward-to"-ness becuase I'll be able to drive then in GT5
