Does GTsport need a ‘Group E’ for EV’s?

What would you prefer?

Although GTsport only has one electric road car as of now, the BMW i3, it’s pretty useless in the Group X category.

Wouldn’t it be better to have a ‘Group E’ for it? of course it would only be useful when other electric cars (hopefully) get added in the future.

OR

As EV’s can differ in performance just as much as IC cars do, should they be added to their relevant N classes?

Because dumping all EV’s in just one class would still cause cars to become useless, you won’t stand a chance in a i3 against cars like an i8 or any Tesla (if PD were to add those in the future).

It also has the e tron vision gt from Audi. Welcome all types of cars as GT does it so well.

The problem is "EV" encompasses so many performance grades of cars... list all the EVs that may be suitable for GTS... can go from the Prius to the Tesla to the Rimac etc.

I know everyone brings up the BMW i3 but this is a city hatch much like the Prius so it really should be in N200?

An original Tesla Roadster would be N300? The new Roadster would be an N700?

I think once a suitable number of EV's have been added, PD could create specific groups such as E100, E200 etc. that could potentially be used with the standard IC groups i.e. E100 & N100 in the same race?? - Just a thought!

That’s why I underlined “road car”, both Audi’s are race cars :)

Like I said, there’s a few possibilities for EV’s to be categorized, maybe a separate ev variation of the N classes would be a possibility also..

Of course this would require more EV’s to be added, the i8 would be great, some Tesla’s, the Nissan Leaf, Renault Zoe and my personal favorite, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV

I actually had this exact thought in mind a few days ago - you read my mind! I think it'd have tons of potential - you could have the BMW i3 and i8, the Tesla Model S and Roadster, Nissan Leaf, an electric-only Toyota Prius if that's a thing, and stuff like that.

Ideally, I would like to see more fun with hybrid systems from a gameplay perspective, like the option to switch a car's power type if it's an option IRL, or how in the GT4 demo, there was a neat display for the then-new 2nd-gen Prius regarding its hybrid system. (On a similar note, if the Toyota MTRC returns, I wanna see that car's interesting display return, as well - I recall it having a visual representation of friction/temperature on each tire. And the fact that its ride height changed on the go when going from tarmac to dirt/snow, and vice-versa.)

They should just be added into the N classes, with the proviso that the i3 would probably require being in N200 as it's over the cutoff point.

The Copen is a VGT so it kind of makes sense. They probably could’ve made a Gr.4 out of it. I think we have enough FF cars in that class though.
Oh, I understand that, but the small cars are so out of place against their faster peers.
