Does anyone know whether GT5 will have a clutch funtion while driving. In the same way as a manual car would, instead of the semi-manual function that it has at the moment.

I ask this because I really want to get this steering wheel from logitech. Unfortunately i am not the sort of person that buy's something with out knowing whether i am able to use all of the functions.

Would it not be a really good idea to have that sort of function tho. i think it would, it would help with the drifting, giving you a wider variaty of drifting techniques. such as the Clutch kick. Therefore adding a more realistic feeling to the driving.

Man I really hope they fully support that wheel. Imagine having online races where only people with the wheel can participate. Then we will see who the trully skilled drivers are.

Ummmm... how does that follow. Do you just not want to get your butt handed to you by someone using a hand controller??

Clutching apart from the G25 will probably be automated, although they may give you an option to use an assignable button. I think it's only really useful in drifting, and I'm not keen on getting a wheel which costs about half what a PS3 itself costs! Maybe when it hits $100 US, but we'll see. My DF Pro is still rocking.

if the game supports g25 ,there will be an option to use clutch. Its not very difficult to program.(one axis more)

And im keen on g25 .( street 200€,only 50 more than dfp on release)

I am getting one for free so I wont be to gutted if it doesn't run with a clutch or a non-sequencial shifter however I would be surprised if it GT5 doesn't have an optionable clutch capability since it is hardly cutting edge technology. Online racing games like Live for speed have clutch capabilities already, and the Polyphoney Digital still have a year to implament it. I would be dissapointed if they tried to dodge it
