i dont think you can compress mp3s to be any smaller, you might if you changed the bitrate to a very small size (32kbs>)

all this is cuz i have a mp3 player and it has 32 megs and you can put like 7 to 10 songs on it so if the files are smaller i can put more

oh.. are you getting the songs off a cd of d/l them? if you are d/l the and have a cdrw burn them on there as an audio cd the use and extracter to make the kbs to about 64-92 kbs. if on a cd do the same above(minus the buringing to cd)

????? Look i have songs on my pc already downloaded that i want to put on my mp3 player but i can't put a lot on my mp3 so i want to make the file size smaller....

Why would you buy one of those 32 MB MP3 players? Get an MP3 CD player or a Jukebox that holds more than 5 GB of music. I have a 20 GB ARCHOS Jukebox.

As I've said many, many times before, I cannot stress how easy it is to use google and type in "mp3 compressor."

http://www.iomation.com/products/product.asp?ProductID=dietmp3 I installed it and compressed a 5.1MB file down to 518 KB.

You should try this "google" thingy out. It actually works, contrary to unpopular belief.
