does the f1's color have to do with speed?

👍 ok ive just entered the f1 races like 3 times, and all losses. each time ive tried a different setup, with no luck.then i began to notice that the same color f1 car won the championship every time. it happened to be the black over orange one. i juse wanted to kno am i doing somthing wrong? are different colored f1 cars fasterr than others? i cant handle the car in a spec so then is it my b spec driver?...i tried to analyze the specs of the races...

the red car passed mine 2 times on one of the races
the orange i never could catch
and the green and black i never could pass, by the time i am ready to pass i had to pit

ok so its not a very thorough scan but every time i finish in last place ... my bspec dude's got round 4796 pts. and ive only got 3900...

i had 4 different colored f1's but i had to sell them to help but all the good cars in the used car rooms during days 694-700. now i only have a yellow over black one.

can sum help me out and see if the color matters... and see which one is fastest if that is the case. 👍 good luck!!! u may need it :dunce:

Color is only cosmetic.

Unless you have the pink F1 with green polkadots, which then you have a super secret turbo that makes you go as fast as the speed of light.

Orange and black is the Phantom Arrows machine. It like pwns the rest.

Psyche. You are experiencing placebo effect. They're all the same. All of them.

Everyone in the WRS knows that red is the fastest colour of all (it's worth up to a second a lap) except when we're talking about Skylines, then midnight purple is the quickest by far.

The opponents have random performance. However during ONE championship there is an order in which they more or less constantly qualify, depending on track characteristics of course. For example in your first championship the orange one is the fastest, then in your second try maybe the red one is and so on. In my championship the white/blue one and the white/green one were constantly fastest, but sometimes the red one did pretty good (on slow tracks).

I won every race in first try (B-Spec) with the yellow/black car. If you can drive a single fast lap, you should qualify for pole position and let your driver start from there.

To add a more serious note here,

I don't think the cars are the culprit. Maybe the red F1 started first. Maybe it's the AI. The really fast one could be the one that has the best AI, and the slow ones have crap AI.

In other words, I don't know. Slap me with the official n00b fish. Give me the "I'm with stupid" smilie.

Hello tsmyscooter0426,

I think one of your main problems is that:

ok so its not a very thorough scan but every time i finish in last place ... my bspec dude's got round 4796 pts. and ive only got 3900...
You and your B-spec haven't enough points to win :guilty:

I guess that the average IA in formula is equivalent to I-A or S licence skills so you need at least for your B-spec to have around 9000pts if you want to win from the backline.

For example, mine is actually over 8000pts with 94 as machine skill, 84 as track skill and 82 as battle skill and with an XJR-9, I just finish 3rd (after a Minolta and a Pesca 2004) in the Professional GT World Championship even if I have qualified him in 1st position because he wasn't enought fast to keep his position. :yuck:

So, first try to increase your own skill then improve those of your B-spec (it appears to be faster like that for me) and finally when your B-spec dude will have more than 90pts skill in the 3 area, let him win the formula GT :dopey:

I hope it will work for you, mine easily win the A & B races with the same car and win the I-B and I-A races with some difficulties and with my help to overtake at the right places.

Enjoy,

Tiper

To everybody considering a more technical answer to this question:

The color of the Formula 1 in the game, it doesn't make a damn difference. I may not be the best driver in the world of GT series but in GT3, I was in the top 20 on almost every track on a big website where we could put our times : http://gt3.gttimes.com/view/lap.php

I would say that your B-Spec driver really needs some skills, Tiper1980 is right on that. Now, I'm at my 501 days of racing, I have 41 % of the game done, all my races on the Formula GT Championship are gold trophies!! I've drove almost every track with my blue and white Formula 1 and I had more than 1 lap on every other Formula 1!!

I think your car need adjustments, you will find real good adjustments around here, many freaks of GT4 in this forum, I have a great car by reading their posts and adjusting mine like theirs!! :) 👍

Set your Formula 1, you will win the races MAN!!
