Does the G25 Work well with PS3??

I have the PS3, and am contemplating the G25, I have searched but maybe I am not inputting the correct terms, and I dont have hours to spend sifting through thousands of threads. Can someone please tell me if the G25 is totally compatible with the PS3? I even called logitech and the cust svc rep couldnt tell me for sure. Thanks.

I have a ps3 and g25, There is no force feedback unfortunately. So you still have to play with your ps2.

I have a feeling Force Feedback will be a patch you have to d/l over the internet/lan function of the PS3 like you have to do with Project Gotham Racing 3 for Xbox 360.

most people who bought a g25 bought it for the pc it would be a mistake for gt5 not to support the g25 fully... not a gigantic mistake but a dissapointment.

where's you evidence....thats a very blunt statement.

Anyways my guess is that if it works with PS2 it works with PS3...afterall it is USB(universal serial bus)... As well I have heard of no other wheel to be launched that will work specifically for the PS3

First, sorry about the double post.

Red_line: I have on evidence, and yes, it was very blunt.

Before I bought my G25, I tried to find out if GT4 supported the shifter. I searched the threads, reviews, and company web sites. I didn't find a clear answer. So I took a gamble and lost.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't regret buying the G25. It is a great wheel. In fact, I like it more than I like the PS2.

Now I want a racing sim that uses all the features of the G25. With no clear answer on the FF or the shifter questions, the PC seems to be the only way to go. (rFactor, GTR, GTR2, etc.) LFS carbon is not the type of racing I like.

The other reasons for being blunt is the way GTHD was going to be marketed. If you bought the game and all the cars and tracks, you could have bought a real car.

Now, I here things about PS4?

I guess I am getting frustrated at all the marketing. I just want a F1 game that supports the G25.

LFS or NFS carbon?

Rfactor has an f1 car in it. and there's a mod that adds all the 2005 f1 cars. LFS has an f1 car as well. they both have lower classes of open wheeler cars and gtr cars too.

Maybe I need to look at LFS again. My computer is a mac, so moving to rFactor is not a simple move.

OK I googled LFS. Looks good, but its a PC game.

Need For Speed Carbon has a plot. All I am after is a racing sim. with FF and support for the shifter and cluch.

The only games I play is GT4 and Enthusia.

I just finished Circuit De La Sarthe 24h II in A spec. Most of the races in both game I enjoy.

yeah, there's no storyline besides your own that you develop through league races and joining a team . the ai are not very good either.
