Kondo Racing is a racing team run by Masahiko Kondo, a singer, actor, and racecar driver. Sponsored by Yokohama Tire, they entered in 24 Hours of Le Mans, only to retire after 182 laps. In 2003, R: Racing Evolution, a Namco's racing game, sponsored the team, and the game included the car. At Le Mans, the team crashed into tire barriers at Arnage in the beginning and fell into around 30th overall, but came back to 13th overall, 8th in LMP900 class at last, beating Racing for Holland, which used the same chassis but its engine was Judd V10 (GV5).
