I tried another game of GT2 last week; but this time, I discovered something new: each time you enter a licence for testing, you add one day to the total.
Unlike GT1, where each individual test garners a day to your tally, the GT2 license tests work differently. No matter how many times you perform any or all of tests in say, the I-B license, you only add one day. But if you enter the particular license, you add one day, even if you immediately "back out" by only trying one of the tests.
Thus, you can do this over and over again: You can pick a different car as your first 10,000 credit choice. So you are not necessarily limited to the used cars you find on day one.
Now, don't go expecting any 22B's or GT-R's falling into the under-10K category, but now you have different choices, if you've been looking for something different in your next GT2 game.
