im sure you can, some people dont like when people vote for themselves for some reason.

i was telling myself that this week i was going to pick the very best one to vote for(might be my own, might not), but right when i came in and saw my entry at the top, i forgot and i voted for it without looking at anyone elses. i do think i belong in the top 5 but i wanted my vote to go to what i thought was the best if it wasnt my own.
if i would happen to tie with someone who didnt vote for themselves, i would concede the win.

The fact that you chose your own entry as a finalist is interesting enough. Not that it isn't good, but it is a conflict of intrests. That being said, I'll be voting for myself in the same spirit.
