Drafting

I know i'm not the only one frustrated by the fact that BOB doesn't want to slip stream. He actually goes out of his way in order to stay out of the draft.
Is this a level thing? My level 37 does this all the time.
Does all BOBs do this?

They can drive in the dark with no headlights and get the redbull X2010 round the ring like a madman but they cannot overtake a car without smashing into it 25 times or do almost anything else without messing it up for no reason whatsoever!

that's because they've got radars instead of eyes!

That is the reason my bob just won't win the amateur truck race on Daytona.
If I could only give him the order to draft number one car and overtake on last straight. I know I won that race with my laramie with lots less power than he's driving.
