What´s your greatest drafting?
I remember adding 30kph (17mph) or so to my 328ci´s top speed and coming - in the test course - from a corner in a slow fifth gear with the supra rz. Then I got behind a vector m12 caught a lot of speed took him and just before the end of the corner I still manage to get a little draft from the 2nd and 1st guy, when I got to the corner I was going at 395kph (255mph). Top speed wasn´t much but the acceleration was crazy.

wasnt aware GT2 had been programmed to allow drafting. Doesnt seem to work in two player mode...

I can´t be sure about that cause all the drafting I´ve made was vs AI, still it should work. Were are you "trying" to do it? In normal tracks drafting will be less noticiable; try it in the test course and I´m sure you´ll see it.

yea, that may be right. Usually the drafting i try is on a shortish straight like laguna or midfield. will def try against AI

Best bet is the turbo cup in the sim disc but an arcade road race with lets say 15 laps will get you enough space with fairly good cars to try it.
My advice to get a very good draft is: follow a fast car inside the corner in the test track with a big distance, when you exit it hit the gas and keep the other car right in front of you. For max drafting effect you should pass him just before the aproaching corner, by that time the speed will be amazing. Don´t forget to space the gears... and checking the replay later

I usually try to in sim. disk races when I'm behind, but I've never seen it make a noticable difference.

Genius bla . was racing my bro - him in a Mugen NSX, me in the ZZII at Red Rock. Top speed by myself at the end of the straight was 290kmh ish, drafting him i got it up to 325kmh. Super stuff .....
