I need some details for my drag car. I currently have a 573 hp Mazda Rx8 that goes up to 345 km/h. I need help quick. Should I buy a new car or keep it? I accidentally sold my Spirit R Mazda Rx7 and I don't have much money. answers will be appreciated.:scared:

What are you trying to do with it? Have you read any of the posted guides? I'd reccommend it to anyone just starting out. They have everything you will need to be up there with the fast guys.

Thanks I was just looking at it. I have the mindset but I don't have the money. I'm level 13 and I just need a quick way to get money thats all. By the way, what level at the minimum do you accept for team Hydro?

We don't accept people by what level they are on. We accept them by performance and other set standards thats are extremely hard to meet.

Welcome to gtp. If you have access to online play I recommend doing the seasonal events. They are pretty easily won and offer large payouts. Do a few of these and you will be able to buy any cars you desire. 👍

What Kenny said also don't sell a car to buy another its just not worth it. If you have the 200% log in bonus you'll b able to get twice as much cash in the seasonal plus you win a level gift car, who knows it might b the one your looking for.

kenny, thanks, but what certain events could be won easily. I'm asking specific answers for the Rx8, and again thanks for the help.

Slashfan, what are the standards?

Knowing how to tune for one, having the knowledge to tune any car and giving everyone respect to earn it back. Alot of people are fast but if your a rude dude nobody will let you in. 👍

I use an rx8 tuned to 500 pp on the 500pp event at nurb gp/d layout. Its 3 laps and pays 300,000 credits without the log-in bonus. Plus its a nice track to race on. 👍

Very stiff regulations. Generally you must be within .030-.050 of all the top times on the leaderboards for every car, be on late every night, be able to attend most break in sessions and general circuit races on time, not cause a lot of lag etc. AND A LOT MORE. But we aren't accepting any more recruits at this time.

Could you give me the parts to buy and tuning for 500 pp?

No problem. I'll probably be on later this afternoon to do it.

P.s. Nice avi. That man is a legend and was the best running back of all time whether he holds the records for it or not. 👍

I appreciate your kindness. What time (Eastern Time) exactly will you be on? I sent the fr.

Why am I still in the team then

Seriously though, it is very hard to become a member of Team Hydro, as they are one of the top teams. I only got a place after I had tuned drag cars for a while and when a space came free that needed filling pretty rapidly. If you keep trying you might get in the team at some point, just keep reading and playing around. One of the best ways of tuning is trial and error, as long as you keep down the previous tune, just incase your next tweak makes the car slower.

I'll pm you, it's quite long, and I don't wan't to take the thread away from the tuning side of things.

Thank you cgg. Now I have the money, but I need more tunes for the Indy course for my ZR1 Corvette RM, Nissan Skyline R34 Nur, and my Honda Civic Type R.

Anyone wanna drag? Meet me at Indy on Friday!! Any car under 650 pp is acceptable! This is mainly for having fun Dragging, drifting, chilling, and even trading! Look for me in the lobby!

I've got a similar tune to yours, with similar results. I'd start doing the regulations and I will do anything to join the team. ANYTHING!

If you have decent b specs and access to a 2j I do the 4th (I believe ) bspec race it's 650 pp and on Suzuki if you have 200 bonus for that Dat you can get around a million in 10 minutes and you have to watch him everyone and then (to catch up with the zonda or BMW) but once hes out front hell hold his own

I think the new ff seasonal at Cape Ring is the way to go now. I've been running a 370 or 380pp mazda5 door and getting over 1.1 million credits a race in just over 10 minutes and have been having a blast doing it.
