Why is there a drifting sub-forum, but no thread or sub-forum that deals with drag racing. I know a lot of people don't like it, but then I know a lot of people that utilize the online feature just for this. Feel like there should be a section for those people that want to discuss what cars are the best, tuning setups and what not.

Can anyone fill me in on why there is not one alreayd made?

There's already a topic about this here, and I would say I don't think it will (but very well may) happen because it can likely be covered in the various drag racing threads we have, and also where tunes are shared in the Tuning Forum.

I can't fill you in on why there isn't a sub-forum but I do agree that there should be one because I know/see a lot of people who drag race in GT5 and are very into it.

Another possible reason is the fact that there are no drag-related events in the game, whether they be seasonal or career.

Good point. However I agree it wouldn't hurt to add a sub form. Help those that do drag out.

I used to drag every night. Had a lot of fun. The lack of red lighting ended up with lots of people jumping or stealing the hit as it is called. This doesn't settle well with me. So I gave it up and focused on left right racing. Which I must say is way more intense then drag racing with out G forces. For me anyway.

Here is hoping for a DLC drag pack of sorts. I would drag race again with a tree where things could be regulated better.

Good point, I never really thought about that.

As the user above me posted I would be dragging a lot more if there were a proper tree, times at the end of the drag runs, recognize jumps, etc...
