Drag tunes for a 98 audi s4?

maybe im the only one, but has anyone used the 98 audi S4 as a drag car? i just picked one up and was curious as to how well the car performs.

As far as the audi goes im sure Karo has tuned one, Im sure he will post here soon :D
 
There not that good at all. It's not a powerful enough car for the 1/4 but decent for circuits. Your chances are better with any other Audi but that lol.

Audi S4 '98 is a very fast car if tuned properly man!!!
You can make it hit 10.1 sec maybe less cause its faster than Imprezas/Evos
You have more power a little more weight but to much grip for launch so you
can make it launch very hard and keep it going down the pass!!!
I've tested one and i gave it a base tune and gave me back a nice 10.150
In the first try and after 2-3 passes 10.080 was real!!!
Someone with more time to spend fot this tune can take it down to 10.050
or even less!!!

Really you hit 10.080? I dont remember right but that car was struggling in the 10.1's I think i got a 10.188 with it but didnt bother continuing it cuz it was slow.

My bro i dont need to lie.It was fast enough to keep up with 22B and
i thought that it was a nice time for that car.In my region that car has 552ps
like 22B it after launch has better accel cause exit speed is 1mph higher.
Try to give it a close trans with 1st and 2nd just passing 65mph.
That was my trans setup and base tuning for suspension

i really wanna turn mine into the ultimate evo/STI killer. was doing some test last night, and i agree the car launches hard as hell. if can get it to hit 10 flat, then im sure i could go even lower. whos knows, maybe a 9 second S4?;)
 
Recently bought a low miles Audi s4 because I remember running a couple fast ones that smoked my (poorly tuned) spec-c a few months ago, It should be at least competative. I prefer to run cars that nobody uses much and give them a good run, I usually lose but I like to try and beat a faster car with a slower one.

Im also on the hunt for rare drag car. Has anyone tuned the old muscle vett that is used in the historic races?
 
WOW kleo, hunting season just open for me I'm gonna look for a low miles one now. If not a killer it could be competitive.
 
All Audi's had really good launch and times in every GT game guys
But the best for its potential was always S4 '98.
I dont think that can touch 9's but very low 10's is possible!!!

i cant bro sorry and i had another one with 30,000miles
The same tune in these 2 cars gave me almost a tenth difference!!!
They had almost 10hp difference...

Go to the marketplace, you'll probably find a 0-0-0 s4 in no time.

I'll have to look now, I forgot there are 2 S4's, an 03 and 98 and can't remember which one I bough, thinks its the 03. Gonna see if I can track a 98 down.

S4 '98 is 2.7lt Turbo with 265hp and capable of less than 10.1
S4 '03 is 4.2lt N/A with 335hp and capable of 11sec flat maybe less!!!

S4 '03 is more powerfull but has more weight and motor/chassis
is not competitive with other cars with same potential!!!
S4 '98 is much faster!!!
 
Yeah, not wasting my time on an 03. I hope it was the 98 I bought but Somthing tells me it's not, Will find out when I get home I guess
 
*update* after about two hours of playing and testing the S4, i got it to hit 10.094. this car does have potential! ill post some pictures later when i get a chance. but if you do have a S4 sittin around, build it up! totally worth it! thanks for all the feedback :)

That was one of the best cars in GT4 and one of my favorites!!!
I said that,maybe less than 10.050 is possible for a great tuner...
