Drag tuning help

Right basically Ive been playing gt5 for ages now but am new to the drag scene could anyone be kind enough as to give me some tuning pointers and what cars to use?
Will be much appreciated
 
While drag racing isn't in GT5, it is commonly used online as an event. For FR cars, A low ride height in the front is good, as well as a high height in the back. A slightly harder suspension in the back is good as it can help pin the cars rear wheels to the ground and gain traction. Toe angle can be helpful but too little tor too high amounts can make you lose traction.

Longer first or second gears for transmissions are good, followed by shorter gears as long as they remain in the car's powerband. There is more but this should suffice for beginners. DaLightninRacer has some good base tunes for beginners like you. These aren't top of the line tunes but are guaranteed a few wins. Good luck and have fun!
