heres allways a thread open about "drag tuning" (yes in the wrong forum).

people who do drags wont give their setup out, i think most of them are kids.. and they are verry proud of their "drag tunes" (the never ending "mine is bigger" story)
some people would say drag racing is boring... for me dragracing is the same boring **** than nasscar...

wich is not RACING... its just DRIVING

tipp for you tuning:

soft your complete suspension a bit...

IRL soft suspension = more traction

Some of us (GTP) give setups out and we try to help where we can. But it really depends on how you're asking.

Kids? Well, it says alot about you

Proud? Why not?
We spend hours and hours to make the tunes better. You just don't or don't want to see the hard work behind it.

Just Driving.........:indiff:

dr_slump most is not ALL... :)

i know your tuning thread and how hard it is to find a nice setup, but hey.. drag racing is just driving straight...

Most? You never said that.

Anyway.........
If you think it's just driving a straight, I would strongly recommend to join our drag lobbies, cause it's more, way more!

I don't give my whole setup out but always willing to help people who are struggling.

"i think most of them are kids.." Really? Obviously you have never been to a drag room as most of the people there are 20+ years old. There are kids but they just ask for tunes and when you don't give it to them they kick you.

Drag racing is pretty much all about the tuning… unlike standard racing the best tune will normally win out. It takes time and research to setup a car and I can understand why they don’t want to give them out.

I don’t think “most of them are kids”… they just don’t want to spend hours setting up a car and pass it onto the next guy (who has put in zero effort) only to be matched or beaten by them. It is a competition after all.

You don’t get the colonel giving out the recipe do you? ;)

If it annoys you friedi do some r&d and post your drag tunes ;)

Wrong, go look at the many drag tunes we have at GME.

Only a small percentage are kids, most people who are drag racing at SSR7 are 18+ anyway.

You obviously have NEVER stepped foot on a drag strip nor driven a high horsepower car in anger in a straight line. We can say the same thing about people doing top speed runs down the autobahn and that really IS just driving.

Guess what, this isn't real life, this is GT5 and it's completely different.
