Dreaded message, may lead to big giveaway

I just got a message saying I cannot store anymore items, was wondering if anybody could tell me anything that is not on this list that will add to this.

I have about 6,000 items, and about 30 active PSN friends so if anybody wants somthing for nothing add sneakypete123 and put GT5 in msg. Cant gaurentee that I can give you what your looking for but if I can I will.

I have

Helmets - 370
Suits - 382
Horns - 156
Paint - 3507
Gt Auto tickets - 69

Premium cars - 344
Standard cars - 1154

With this and a few tuning parts laying around the figure is around 6,000 and was lead to belive the limit is 7,000 so if im not mistaken there's around 1,000 items not accounted for here.

Please reply here with any requests you may have. Gold/silver chromes along with mattes and other rare paints are off limits so please dont spam this thread with requests for these.

Ps I have no car tickets and if this should be in trading thread rather than QnA please feel free to move it.

Oil change and car wash are as good as it gets im afraid, would like to keep the total restore tickets for myself.

Maybe tempted to trade overhaul and body rigidity tickets at a cost as I have 18 of each and these can save sombody 500,000cr with each use, money is no object for me but will keep the Car Restoration tickets (13 of) just incase

You might want to go to your paint list and sort them by name. You will find that you might have 10-15 of same paints listed separate. This will run your item list up quickly, I just delete a bunch of the same names when my item list gets full. When PD gives you 10 paints per day they don't add them to the same color list, if they would give you the same 10 colors each day by the end of 1 week you would have 70 paint items instead of the 10 it should be.

Best way to make space is delete colors. (especially the whites and greys, who notices the difference anyway.)

You could start with the shades you have 5 or 6 of and still keep one. At least it will give you a few days to decide which ones you really don't want to throw away.
The problem is that gt5 gives you 10 free paints every day and then eventually says you can't store anymore.
I think it's weird, because they make a game with collector items and then punish you for actually collecting them, almost begging you to make more accounts.

edit: I have lots of paint too and can send you some if you accidentally throw something away and want back.

The paint count is treacherous, just like suits and helmets, because every single one counts as an item. so if you have 5 items of polar blue the game counts it as one kind of paint, but the item count is 5. same for the helmets 3 helmets of blizzard 16 counts as 3 items while the game only counts the different kinds.
Hope this helps to explain why you think the item count is wrong.

It's sad but you need to delete some items to get ahead of the curve. You can only send 5 paints a day but you receive 10 with the 200% log-in bonus.

I gave away all duplicate helmets, suits and horns. Now all I need to do is spend hours going through my paints .

I am 100% sure you area talking about DLC paint, which cannot be traded.

Hi mate to answer your original question I will try help a little.

In the top right hand corner of paints it may say 3000.
But thats how many indivdual colours you have, But if you then put it on item count you might have like 5 matte pink and 5 gold chrome.
Then in fact you have 3010 paints. Simplest way I could explain it.

That example go,s for anything thats in your ITEMS FOLDER ONLY.
Cars / Museum cards are excluded from that total.

Have some super red V's but there are a few different shades. Only 1 hugger orange tho so none spare.
