Before i start im guessing this should be in the video section however this is hardly worthy of it since it isnt a show off video at all..

Okay So heres a video of being doing cape ring north before you say its the track, its the same performance and issues on all tracks, tsukuba etc etc.

Its a Nissan silvia thats been tuned with engine upgrades, exhaust etc etc and ive followed a set up guide for the car, not yet finished

Tyres are Comfort Hard

The video annotations pretty much tell you whats going on so watch it and reply here and tell me how to fix these issues any things you can see im not doing right in terms of rev control etc.

ALL ON A DS3

Try starting with stock HP, but with all the supension, drivetrain and transmission upgrades. And I think you're hitting the limiter too much; lengthen your gears and ease into the drift.

I almost never use the E-brake to initiate a drift, only extend it. Try feinting

The first thing i noticed was some entry speeds are way to high the best way to stop this is approach the corner as if you were racing (Not to fast !), also try not holding the e-brake for such along time give it a small 1 second tap just to break traction. Using the gearbox is also key try to not be bouncing of the limiter as much change up to get more torque for the drift. You can also try using a low range turbo and full locking the lsd 60/60/60 is what i use and im a ds3 user. Hope this helps ;)

When you are saying that the steering is losing all response it is because you are way too fast!
-Check your entry speed, its better to come slower than hit the outside wall.
-Use comfort hard as it is very easy to drift and will give you good practice.
-Never drift in first gear

And as ps3dan101 said, the diff set to 60/60/60 is good for ds3 drifter.

Check what I can do with all these brough together ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz5IXLka7aE

Cheers guys for the help, ive recently done rally driving in my silvia just to get used to how the car slides ..i know it will be different on tarmarc but its more getting used to the controls over environment and tuning

starting to get the hang of it..either that or im a born rally driver..just beasted a stage with 20 seconds ahead the rest by the end.

As others have said already, you are going way too fast. Also, you barely use the brakes to slow down as you approach a corner. The E-brake helps your rear slide out, but you still need to slow down and stabilize your car before a turn.

Try following a line that you normally use for racing and use the same braking points. Then drift each turn before you try connecting multiple corners. Good luck!

Update:

Got my old S15 silvia out and went mental on the Camber and Toe angles on the front wheels and now the car has become a much better car to drift as well as some aero changes on the front of the car (race modded it)

So now I am starting to pull off some proper drifts on wider and very narrow corners so im getting there now guys, just need a wheel!

will get pics of my S15 up soon.

Also stuck a low end turbo on it now instead of high end.
