Drift Angle

yes. I have now switched over to a DFGT after many years of drifting with a controller. I have learned to drift with a wheel but im still in the process. Here is my problem, i dont really know how to adjust my angle alot while im drifting. for example eiger forward, the 2 turns after the tunnel which comes before the finish line. It looks like a mini s-turn right before you actually take the turn. i can initiate but i cant really adjust my angle when i want to. i either gas it to make more angle or i just counter steer too much and i end of spinning out. please i want to hear your opinions and suggestions
 
in General to create more angle/oversteer you either need to apply more throttle AND counter-steer less. Depending on the car and your skill level you can steer the car in drift with the throttle. That last s-turn before the long sweeper can be tricky.

It's an UPHILL transition so you need to throw the car into the turn a bit harder, or a more severe weight shift going uphill. It's tricky because it starts off kind of sharp, widens out and tightens up again near the end. I usually start off on the inside of the turn, swing out to the outside of the turn in the middle and then swing back in towards the inside of the turn at the last section.

this is far from my best line/try but at 1:20 you can kind of see what i'm talking about.

I personally either clutch kick or tap the E brake, but knowing as most people dont have those things you can reduce steering angle for a bit, this increases the slide angle for some reason.

It increases slide angle because it allows the rear tires to kick out easier since they are not being controlled from kicking out by the front wheels.

Your drifting was amazing, however your steering seemed very light and to quick. Is it the G25 or just how you set it up

thanks for the compliment. In that video i have the Force-feedback set to "5" and the power-assist ON, which is like power-steering. As far as the speed it's the weight transfer of the car that makes the wheel spin back/forth quickly. Now i previously had a Driving Force Pro, and the G25 is a MUCH smoother wheel in my opinion. For beginner drifting you may want to turn the FFB down a bit, and try the power-assist, so you don't need to FIGHT the wheel. The only down-side is it is a lot harder to feel the road, and the shifting of the car with the power-assist on. I have since gotten better and ONLY use FFB at 5, no power-assist, or active steering. The only aide i use is ABS at 1. This video here is with NO power-assist, as you can see when done correctly, the cars weight transfer will spin the wheel just the same.
