Drift Comp @ 8:30pm US time

You're letting people use any comfort tire?

A comfort soft will leave a comfort hard in the dust, how is that fair?

Just do what everybody does and limit it to CH so it's not a disaster. Good luck finding participants anyway! 👍

Like I said if you even read it all, Leader must let the chaser stay close until corner entry.
Yes, I did read it all, a courtesy roll is a given, but it doesnt defeat the fact that comfort softs can get round those 2 corners at least 5 seconds quicker than comfort hards, making a tandem almost impossible.

The only way it would be fair is if everybody used comfort soft. You really can't see the obvious advantage of a faster/grippier tire?

Is that better for your standards?
Hey dude, I'm just saying, people won't want to participate in a comp with unfair rules, nearly every competitive drifter around here uses comfort hards, and every comp restricts to CH.

Restricting it to CH just keeps everything level and close, 3 different tires will produce too many varied drift speeds making it a pointless effort.

Just trying to help. 👍

I understand people use comfort hards but I don't like or use them unless I have to. Comfort Softs give better grip and acceleration off line and I know they don't get as much angle as CH but I don't care.

Well OK but it's not about what you like, it's not gonna be a bunch of your clones joining your comp room, either change it to CH and suck it up, or just go do something else because I'm sorry buddy but nobody, especially in this forum, will join that comp.

That's just the way it is man, I'm not trying to be mean or anything but until you learn how to use CH like everybody else maybe you should stay away from comps.

(Oh and if you find your traction is bad on acceleration with CH, set your rear camber between 0.0-0.7 and set off in like 3rd-4th instead of 1st).

Hate to break it to ya, but 90% of the drifters on GTP use CH. You can use CS all you like, but in the end you'll have a bunch of random noobs who can't drift to save there lives. :dunce: Good luck with your "CS comp"

Ok, well it's clearly going in one ear and out the other so, I'll leave you to it.

I was only giving advice, but I guess you don't want it.

Good luck with your comp 👍
