Okay, who got left out this time...guys, please make your pic name short enough if you want to have a chance of winning.

OMG, I'm tied for first :dopey::D

I voted for Eric, his shot is pretty good, my only problem is the background is a little shaky/blurred weird.

One question Skyline. Not to pick bones or anything, but why is it that my original shot was disallowed, yet atlop's wasn't? No biggy, just seeing that as far as I can tell we made the same error in our interpretation of the rules (concerning the amount of the car shown).

Awaiting a quick reply (not being bitter, just wondering what I did wrong).

You took the words straight of out of my mouth, except I didn't know who that Celica belonged to. As far as it goes, both of you didn't have a bad interpretation of the rules. The rules were simple: the entire car can't be in the picture. Why does Skyline have to go as far: "No, it has to be more cropped." Come on, man, if you are going to say that, say something like "Pics can't show more than half of the car". :indiff:

I voted for the last shot, the RX-7. A bit dark, but meh. 1st and 4th (eligible entries, that is) didn't show any drift. All I could see was wheelspin :P

I am not in defense of anyone, but he didn’t say that senamic had to crop the car or else his image wouldn’t go to the poll.
He only said that cropping the image would follow the theme better, or that the image itself was not quite what he had in mind for the theme.

People have to stop giving suggestions about the pictures

Critique is one thing (like and dislikes; whats wrong and whats good; tips on how to get it batter), suggestions are another thing.

God, one of the principles of having themes is the interpretation people give to them. Artist OWN interpretation. That is why I allowed atlop’s picture in the PmC week 171. It isn’t quite following the theme, but the interpretation it had was quite valid.

Now I realize that I commited a mistake. He indeed didn't say his picture wouldn't go to the poll. It's a shame senamic made the mistake (that I would have done too in his position) of following Skyline's advice, because the original looked much better. The way it is now, it's just weird.

Heh, I agree. I know I made many rants on previous competitions, but now I see it clearly.
