I cant drift with the AE86.
When i TRY to drift, the car just turns a little bit (like when u drive the RUF CTR2). It doesnt drift / slide at all. Am i suppose to use a little e-brake to help my car drift ?

I have simulation tires on, 2 LSD, 2 turbo, stage 2 light weight, and all other top lines upgrade, but it still doesnt seem to work. Could somone provide me a better setup that works?
thanks

try a slight feint motion. but not too much..otherwise the back end will come out of your control and you will spin around. adjust your toe and camber...

3.0 0.5 camber
0.5 -1.0 toe

Yeah it sounds like you have ASM on, otherwise you would be spinning out like nuts.

try this, use the setting u have but turn TCS on to 1, it will help u from spining out, thats what i do when i 1st start learnin a new cars driftin style

that's whats funny about this. He's not spinning out. He's got massive understeer.

I think this sums it up. But yeah the only way I can think of, that would make the car understeer with those parts is if he has ASM at like 20. Or he only put sims on the front by mistake.

What are your settings? Are you sure you're using all of the parts you just listed? Just to make sure, double check that you have all those parts and then do this:

Turn off TCS and ASM. Once you do that, the car is ready to drift. If you're still having this problem, it may be your technique*. You probably need to shift the weight of the car more to get it to drift. Don't be afraid to push the car beyond its grip limits.

*Not meant to offend you if you thought differently :)

I'll tell you my settings as far as I remember.

Spring Rate: 16/14 or so
Ride Height: min/min
Shock Bound: 7/7
Shock Rebound: 8/8
Camber Angle: 3.0/1.0
Toe Angle: 2/-0.5
Stabilizers: 6/6
Brake Balance: 20/24
LSD Initial: 5
LSD Accel: 35
LSD Decel: 5
Gear ratios: Doesn't matter

ASM:0
TCS:0

Tyres:
Front: T8
Rear: T8

The drift isn't huge but it's a slighty fast car while drifting, it's just other way ;)

the spring rate is important... adjusting it requires proper thought... i like my suspension stiff...so i make the spring rate higher.... Drifting, to me of course, is better with a stiff suspension. wouldnt you guys think so?
