Hello. I'm looking to learn how to drift, and i'm not very good at following FAQ's.

Can some drifter(s) do a few good laps on Apricot Hill 1, in the 3rd person chase view, with things such as power/brake, steering, and speed displays on, then upload the replays for me to load into my mem card via my xport so I can study them in full detail, please.

Cookies and thanks in advance.

I think that that's a really good idea...'tutorial videos'...

Unfortunately I can't make any...have u seen Thio's 'how to feint drift' instructional video? I think that Cudaman also has an MR2 tutorial video, I can't remember its title right now...

And oh, btw, welcome to GTP:cool:

Cudaman made a few of these back in the day with I believe an MR2 on Leguna Seca...

The only problem... people drift with different styles, and there are many styles to drift with. I can think of just right now 3 different ways that I enter a 90º turn alone. I guess the video could be a start, but really the best way to learn drifting is with trial and error until you find YOUR sweet spot.

Best of luck on your trials though and welcome to the forum.

i've tried trail and error, and since i have nothing to compair with, i dont know what im doing wrong. none of my mates irl play games, i feel so alone on GT3 :(

I made an instructional vid on Laguna Seca in a Trueno. It's not exactly what you described but similar. Check the webpage in my signature and look on the videos section.

heres one...iono which car or track it is though...xport format

does it work?

what i'm doing is playing with my sprinter on the complex string course...seems to be working for me. i brought my time from 6:45 per lap to about 6:20. also, watching my own ghost car is helping me to realize where i'm making my mistakes
