PSN: SuperGTRacer

I need tips for drifting the DFGT. Ive got a mic and my PSN is Adavicro, if anyone that sees this Id appreciate your help.

i will be an instructor i use a g25 and will soon be using a gt3rs v2 the trick with the wheels is turning it back as quick as you can

hmm, seemes like my post dissapeared :P but as i tried to say in it: I can be an instructor although i do not have a mic. can teach both drifting with a controller, 180 degree wheel and 900 degree wheels, rwd or awd. If im elected to an instructor, ill give my input on the room chats, and will use a keyboard to get my posts faster written :P my PSN is GTP_hazzy. You'll usually find me in online rooms drifting either my FD or my sc 300.

I think it would be smart to have "instructors" validate themselves through demonstration or documentation..

So far we have like three guides from new members. Seeing that IDM, Drift dojo are coming back, then we will probably see some guides from veteran members. But if a method works, then a method works.

Wow, GREAT idea! My PSN is Revelation1115 and would love to join this. Any instructor, please add me as I would love to learn how to drift with my G27. I can only drift with a controller at the moment, sadly.

If anyone could offer me some help with my Driving force Pro 900degree wheel and using that to drift, it would be greatly appreciated.

I understand the ideas of it all e.g. weight transfer etc, and I'm can start drifts off but I cant complete them :(

thanks! feel free to pm me also.

You guys should also watch Tsuchiya's Drift Bible. Really good for people who are learning to drift. I can do Braking, E-brake, Feint and Shift Lock Drift.

I have a team member making a few videos demonstrating how to use various techniques and the general concept of drifting, they should be up within a few days.

If someone really wanted to help the new guys, they'd make a video explaining the hows and whys to keeping a drift going once initiated. Let's face it, that's the hardest part of a drift that no one cares to explain in detail.

While I think the idea of this thread is good, this is a valid point. Explaining how to counter-steer properly and throttle control can be difficult with words alone, with video you can see in detail how it's done. It would be good to see someone do this specifically for GT5.

Any one with a 900 wheel want to add me and maybe i can get a lesson on what i am doing wrong I cant seem to hold the drift.

Add me

Id quite like to be an instructor, at a basic level, Im not very good at tunes yet but Im pretty good at sliding and have taught a couple of mates to do the same. I just have a semi long list of issues that would stop me:
I have a mic, but I dont know where it is.
I dont know how to tune properly, LSDs and such.
I live on the opposite side of the world to most people.
Im going away in 2 days.
But yeah if anyone wants some help, I do have a keyboard that I can plug in and use in the lobbies. PSN hollidog
