noticed way to many of them on gt5. specially the ones who complain about people drifting 4wd cars. its not all the time, but its often i come across some noob hating on someone drifitng a 4wd in a drift room. earlier today i had a guy get all philosophical about drifitng in the text chat -_-. he said something like a real drifters soul lyes in rear wheel cars or some b.s like that lol. anyways my point is drifting is drifting no matter the drive train FR,4WD and even FF yes i said FF.back in the day i remember seeing some old option videos of some japanese guys just going to town with FF. if anyone looks down on people who drift 4wd cars you might as well look down on 2 of americas greatest drifters tanner foust and ken block. both those guys be ripping **** up with there 4wd. not to mention all the other great rally drivers.

The main reason people hate on new people is to make themselves look better in a lobby, people will look more professional when they decide to criticise a "noob". I've never had anyone tell me bad about they way I drift.

If someone is new I don't suggest a public lobby, a single spinout can sometimes mean getting kicked or hated upon, I don't use any public lobby's right now, and only drift with my friends.

Everyone has to start somewhere. The beginners may want your help so i think you are obligated to do as much as possible and if someone looks like they are fresh then suggest ways to change their technique and go on your way. 👍

na its not just new people. ive even had some guy get onto me about using a 4wd and im far from being new to gt series or drifting at that. i think its just some guys that went and watched a little to much d1 on youtube and now think they are pros at drifitng. i remember coming across a forum on here where a guy was trying to convince people that 4wd drive cars cant drift and its not drifting lol. i would love to see him explain that to real rally pros.

I noticed some people are a bit full of themselves, even though they can't actually drift. I got in a battle with someone, and in the race, he grinded the wall, and spun out on the second corner. At Eiger. It was a pink slip, and I won his S13!

I also taught SuperGTRacer how to drift, look at the results - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqqbkuw1Wy0

yup...and lol @ story. anyways i love the way a 4wd car looks while drifting. to me the drifitng in rally (not talking about dirt either) is better looking than the drifting in d1. even though its kinda hard to compare the two since one is for speed and the other is for style.

Yeah, I just teach the drift, not the setting.

If you thought SuperGTRacer was good, you should see the way I drift, I've had some awesome comments about it. Going to put some videos on my YouTube account soon.

My computer is down. I guess I could record with my iPhone but than again I have no way to upload it to my YouTube account.

I have a Flip Video camcorder, I just record, then press the button, the USB flips out, I connect to my laptop and upload.

Ken Block isn't a drifter. He is a rally driver and a poor one at that. He also does gym khana EDITS which take hours of filming for the 5 minute clip

Ken Block is a fake image of Colin Mcrae, I'm happy he now drives an Escort, but he's taking over games like the DIRT series with this American Gmykhana rubbish. It explains why DIRT 3 is called DIRT 3, and not with Colin Mcrae at the start. Should be called Ken Block DIRT 3..

I think if Colin McRae were to still be alive the DiRT games wouldn't have been X-Games based.

I hope you didn't just say Colin McRae was a horrible rally driver.👎👎👎👎

Course not, Ken Block is a cheap replacement for someone who was a great rally driver.

I'd imagine it would be about pure rally, which is what Colin Mcrae games were all about.

Colin Mcrae rally 2 for ps1 was the best rally game ive played i still play it now , dirt 2 rallying was stupid way to american based , where was the amazing finland stages and british forests . All it had was a half decent Croatia stage the rest was horrid :(

I know what you mean, I remember playing Colin Mcrae Rally 4, which was great too, and I loved racing through Japan and Finland.

Dirt 2 just doesn't have the scale of the older Mcrae games , and the first CMR had rally school where you learnt to drive a skoda before going on to the subarus and evos , but on dirt 2 you could just hop in and go :(

Oh my god I've been thinking about that game for years trying to remember it, what Colin Mcrae game was that?

It was Colin Mcrae rally his first licensed game http://uk.gamespot.com/ps/driving/colinmcraerally/index.html

I played that when I was 2 years old, I had forgot about it. You reminded me about it by talking about the Skoda, I remember it being white and green with the logo on the hood.

I did like the second one but the first had the most fun gameplay especially when you could roll a car , we can only just do this in gt5 :D
