This weeks theme is Evo Drift

NTX wants to see any Mitsubishi Lancer Evo getting sideways.

Track: Any
Phototravel: Of course not

Please follow the rules.

~ Only one entry may be submitted, mark it clearly as Final Entry.
~ Previews may be posted, but must be no larger then 400X300.
~ You may change your Final Entry once.
~ All images to be uploaded at Imageshack.
~ Photoshop or other graphics programs may only be used to crop, resize, adjust brightness/contrast, gamma, hue/saturation, rotate, add a border or small signature, or to remove the "Gran Turismo/©SCEI" watermark, if you so wish.
~ When using brightness/contrast and hue/saturation filters to alter an entry, it must be uniform throughout the entire picture.
~ If you don't have Photoshop or other professional image management software, try a shareware one such as Picasa or GIMP.
~ Have Fun and feel free to PM me if you have anything you want to ask or discuss.

Swiss - Your shot is pretty good, but the fact that the front of the car is almost touching the edge of the frame throws me off a bit.

It was such a long drift that I wanted to get a lot of it in the shot. Maybe i should've zoomed out a bit.

I'm going to study your methods to making all your photos appear realistic. It's almost like following instructions to doing it. I'm sorta getting there.

Are you sure your staying within the limits?

Brightness/Contrast is definite staples to this formula of yours.
I'm thinking Levels, filter>Sharpen, and something else thats not suppose to be allowed on the list. Am I correct?

edit: i'll get one in on the weekends, if it gets extended..

Now I need to change my entry again.....

a Trico Pro: Its totally within the PMC rules. Its nothing more than some brightness/contrast edit with some touch on saturation (I think) It could be done in GT4 as well. Just need to be lucky with the focus and the aperture/ exposure.

You hit the nail on the head. Looks like it was just a good mix of aperture/focus and lighting(contrast).

you dont actually have much countersteer when you're drifting on dirt with a awd/4wd vehicle, sooo.. i got the only one WITH countersteer... i promptly hit the wall behind me when the nose caught traction . lol
