360 entry
I have been able to do this for an age in forza and gt4/5 but all the lobbies I have joined in my time on gt5 nobody I have met can do one. In forza literally I met people every lobby.

Just wondering whether or not anybody can actually do it cause I have seen none

I think I may have done it once, but it wasn't really good.

A more common (although still rare) is a 360 off the jump at Eiger Nordwand Short Track.

I do it all the time while drifting solo at Tsukuba. The first turn us the best place to do it.

One of my good friends has done a 360 invert which is amazing. The invert is really hard to do on a wheel though. Regular 360 entries are easy to do. I drift on a G27 by the way.

My mate Ingenting87 throws some 360´s in this vid with a G25 Wheel.

I dont see it all the time online, but they are not uncommon - Most are done by DS3 users tho. IMO.

It is easy to do. It is all about timing really. On my G27 it is really easy.

Its all about timing ALSO it´s a solo thing (as you well said) :)

Yep totally agree. It is really hard to do it in a tandem and keep your speed up to not mess up your tandem partner. In all reality, never do this in a tandem.

Same goes for reverse entry unless you've completely neglected the chase car and managed to get five car lengths ahead, but you shouldn't do that either.

Nobody does them online because they often event in crashing into others. If people do do 360's it's normally on the straight rather than on corner entry (I do 360's on the straight while waiting for people to catch up with me). I can do 360's, they are pretty fun. I prefer doing 180's though, turn the car around, put it in reverse and drive backwards. Flick the wheels one way, get it in 1st or 2nd and drive off normally.

I 360 entry all the time. I find it helps you to know your limits, it also teaches you a lot about car control. Plus it's so much fun :).

Not hard to do at all. I would rather be tandeming inches from the leaders door than do 360s. Much more rewarding.

I used to do this in my early wheel days every now and then on Suzuka because I had real difficulty slowing my car down properly for the D1 section - then I learnt how to do it properly and I haven't done a 360 since.

I don't know.. it's a nice little trick but like getting a dog to fetch a stick; it gets boring quick and you move onto bigger and better things.

True. Even though both are similar, I find a well pulled off reverse entry better than a 360 entry

I was waiting for the big headed hate comments ha ha.
That's the problem with gtp these days too many know it alls. Oops supposed to edit that lol.

I like to do it on the GVS section when goin reverse, after I come out of the last corner ill 360 it into the bottom tight corner. I'm sure most people have seen me do this as I have probably smashed into them when there waiting to go back up the section ha ha. If you get it right it's more of a 360 to reverse entry.

I do hope you're not speaking of me, I'm not 'hating' anyone and I'd certainly hope that nobody thinks of me as 'big headed'.

I don't think Husky's have big heads, especially compared to people :sly:

The whole 360 entry thing has died out. I can do it and I know a lot of people who can but we don't because it just turns gt5 into an arcade game where people drive around doing silly things not because it looks good but because it's silly.

It wasn't aimed at you lol I'm not going to name people they know who they are. They always have something smart to say after one of my posts.

And DM seriously whaaaat lol.

Oh good, I'm really glad - it's just the only comments after your last was mine and JR's, so I'm sure you can see where my confusion came from.

My thanks for clearing that up 👍

Whenever I try a 360, it always turns into a 720.

Well, more like 810 because I pull like 90 degrees to one side after the 720.
