Night Majik Presents:
Drift Saga Part 1
Two drifters start a drifter club called Night Majic (which actually is my Drift Club in real life) to compete with the top teams and drifters in the area (Monkey-D, Team SlideShow, and Team Project-D in no particular order) and they are sitting around reminiscing about past drift experiences. Shadow Drifter, (The more advanced drifter) is telling Narishma (the mechanic and car wizard) about a challenge in which a some lame drifter challenges him to an exhibition over at The Trial Mountains. (More on that later) The story of that exhibition is played out and then another exhibition is ensued throughout that story. In the end a surprise twist unveils itself and totally catches both drifters off guard. There are twists, turns and some god-awful jokes throughout the entire movie. And some of the GTPlanet drifters are even mentioned in here.
Little things to know:
This movie makes everything Real
None of the tracks are referred to as tracks. They are identified as real life locations by their names. For example. Deep Forrest wouldnt be called just Deep Forrest or The Deep Forrest Track. It will be called The Forrest and it would be used as Hey Im gonna go practice at the Forrest, Ill be right back. And Tokyo Route 246 would just be called Route 246. The same with SSR5 and SSR11. The wet track is referred to only when it has rained or is raining. The Test Course and Super Speed Way are the only tracks that are called tracks.
Certain Tracks will have to have their names modified to make it more realistic, for example, Seattle Circuit would be called the S.C. as in Lets drift over in the S.C. or Hows S.C. sound for practice.
Another thing that youll need to know is that GTPlanet is not a website in the shows, it is a hang out spot where all of the drifters, racers, and car nuts go to talk cars, eat good food, watch movies, play video games (go figure) and racer each other on the two enclosed tracks, Complex and Test Course.
There are other things which are good to know but it would take too much space to list them all and you drifters are smart, so youll figure the other little knick-knacks along the way as you watch the movie.
Trust me, its good, and it took a lot of hard work for me and my friends to put this series together, so please just give it a chance, its a little on the large-file-size side, but its well worth the wait. And we will get better quality movies once we get better quality equipment.
Semper Fidelis
Shadow Drifter
PS: I used the wmv format to compress it and its currently at 60 megs. Not too bad for a 16 minute short movie.
