In all fairness, if you don't get on their case while they're new, they'll never learn. People get spoiled by handouts, and will keep the mentality of "why search when asking is easier!".
I was new once but I never asked for anything, all the answers a here, people just need to look! Its specifically threads like this that clutter the forum and push all the valuable stuff behind.

Yeah. But, I started reading forums when I was like 12. These new things were daunting. I agree with you, but, even just knowing that Erik's reading the thread, and managed to post a new thread, shows that he'll learn.

We try very hard to keep a neat and clean forum.
The current Sub-forums do an amazing job of it!
Looking at other game forums, they're such a mess. Imagine every thread about GT5 on ONE page! (Photomode / race series /drifting etc)
But still if every new user posts the same 1 or 2 questions every time they join, the site will very quickly become a mess. It's why the AUP and 'NEW MEMBERS' threads are there, it's to try and stop it happening.
It's the people too lazy to look up a few centre-metres and think about what they are clicking that post these exact sort of threads.
Damn man get off it guys.. Seriously? Haven't we all been here for the first time. If you don't like my thread then simply keep scrollibg for what your looking for instead of making pointless facts on this thread when it actually wasn't what you were looking for.. Btw thanks MrMelancholy15 for the help ;-).
