I've been finding this forum less and less appealing lately because of all the drift team threads. Can we maybe get a new sub-forum for drift team business to get it out of the main forum? People could do their recruitment there, as well as maybe issue & track battles.

I've been hoping it would die down and turn into more real discussion about drifting, but it's not.

Well there is stickies for the other drifting parts. I agree though all I see is teams and tournaments. Maybe if a sub-thread was made people would organise more to do with certain meets and maybe build threads?

Forza forums are a perfect example of organisation in my opinion.

Waiting for me? We could use the old OLR forum if it gets to it. We could take a public vote on it. Though its highly depended on the community and Jordan's approval. I will PM asap about it. Though, I wonder if you guys will still post recruitment threads.
Old Teams Forum
If you look, we should have posting from Monkey D, Project D, Night Majik, Phantom D, Team FBI, Team Emperor, etc where held at. Yes, there more Drift Teams during GT3/4 days.

Sounds good. 👍

Well the fact that you seem to be the only person who can be bothered to try to keep these parts tidy and organised it's kind of fitting to you. Not saying you have to or nobody cares but I think you can see my point. Kudos to you. :)

I don't see the whole point not saying I'm against the sub forum but if other drift topics wernt so boring or pointless they wouldn't be getting pushed back a few pages the drift teams are the ones who contribute alot to the drift forum and answer peoples questions I don't see the point in pushing us into a subforum if you want topics dig alittle deeper and try and revive them they are back a few pages and are there for a reason they are just simply not that interesting

So far, in my view that most drift topics do lack interest, like you have said. This Drift community has online play that lets people interact more against each other and talk about it there rather then on the board.

This actually proves some good points. Touche, sir. 👍

Yeah it pretty much is a lot of the teams who answer.. I see alot of the team leaders/members posting all over the shop when someone asks for help or has an important question. Putting us in a sub forum will take us away from that and the drifting forum will become extinct really :)

What keeps the drifting forum alive, is usually Team threads, Battles, or Discussions. Though once in awhile there will be a new team up or someone looking for a room. Everyone does the same thing but hardly experiments or test the mechanics of the game. If we have Zero Countersteering being brought up, people don't accept it as a technique. Although, there were a few threads that propped up FF drifting..
