It's a beautiful car, only problem is that the rear end is way to excited. Does anyone know how to calm the damn thing down? I love it but it still tries to exit corners backwards. Has anyone got a setup or tips on how to tune this car for drifting? i've got a feeling that if the right lsd settings are found that it would be much more controllable.

yeah, could be a problem with using the wheel. I use a controller, and dead stock that thing drifts beautifully.

I actually just recently tuned one up as a drift car and got it handling very nicely. Be warned that I use a DS3 controller since I still haven't found a decent wheel mount, I don't know if it'll handle quite as nicely on a DFGT as it does on a DS3. Might be a little loose but it's plenty responsive.

One of my favorite cars to drift in. Here's my setup, I have stiffer settings and drift in higher gears because I customize the transmission top speed to 124. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.

thanks for your help guys, Jeric your tune works better with the wheel. I'm a bit embarrassed though i'm still having trouble drifting on gt5, I'm only a beginner. Any tips for drifting?

Two problems I have are: that i can't hold the speed in the long corner at tsukuba, I think i get too much angle in the corner.

The second is that i think i am entering too fast into the tighter corners like turn 1, but if i slow down i find that the front end of the GT350 won't carry around the corner, or i spin out due to over accelerating.

Thanks for all your help!

If your coming up short on the last turn on tsukuba, tune your gear ratio so you can change up mid drift to bring it out wider. Thats what I do on older muscle cars 👍

actually changed the rear tyres to n3, n1 on the front, put power up to 350 or so through exhaust and intake upgrades and fiddled with the camber. now can hold a drift better (last corner in tsukuba can be taken on full throttle), but can be a bit snappy. I find that when i counter steer once i feel the car responding, i need to center the wheel really quickly. overall it's a really fun car to drive.
