Drifting: backwards entry setup = more understeer up front?

Hi guyz. I 've been watching some of your backwards entry (Kawabata-style) drift videos and noticed that the fronts always smoke a lot during the slide. This led me to believe that it is due to a more underster-ish setup up front.
Can someone tell me if my hypothesis is true?
