Drifting Help

I started a drift time trial a week or 2 ago and managed after an hour to get bronze. I think it was at Laguna Seca. I am new to drifting in GT5. Just tryed it a few weeks ago. Whats the trick for a good drift or strategy. I am new to this and dont really know nothing at all about it. Please help
