Is it just me that finds it really annoying when people drift cars that wouldn't normally be drifted in real life?
I hate seeing someone drifting a Gallardo or a nascar or something.

I feel you man. Gallardo, yes. Don't forget Ferrari's too. :yuck:

But NASCAR? Try asking my 892HP RedBull Camry. :sly:

I guess it's down to personal preferences. :)

I guess thats going into what people talk about in another thread.
I would personally much rather see an AE86 tearing up Tsukuba than a 900bhp nascar trundling round at quarter throttle.
I point you to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uec8aVx1Qxc

I get what you mean man. But I only drifted my nascar out of pure boredom. I mean, after drifting a bunch of cars, I wanna try and drift something really weird and different. Something that wasn't built for the purpose of drifting.

Nascar = A pretty good laugh.

Meh, it doesn't bother me that much I must say. Unless they lord it over you like complete and utter fridges. That is punishable by death dontchaknow.....

Actually while the NASCAR may be a bit out there, I've seen BMW,Porsche, and some other Drift cars not usually used in drifting in real life. This is usually Euro competitors but i do think that the reason Higher end euro cars aren't used more is because of the price to fix them when they break down like Ferrari but as long as they are RWD it's open to use.

I drifted a Super GT SC430 for a while. Its something different other then plain old cars. Plus it actually takes some effort to tune a race car, which is interesting too me.

Yo I drift my veyron with racing hards mate and 70/30 torque split on that BEAST, get's MAD angle maaate, well good drifter for real! :sly:

Hey man that's rubbish, I'll leave you eating dust with my fully tuned CT230R, it has racing softs, full aerodynamics, 45/55 torque distribution and gets WAY more angle and smoke than your junk. :D:P

You are both nooobs yo
I drift my X2010 on racing softs. I'll beat ya all in battles yo

No, not just you. I can stand Super GT, JGTC, Lms, and cars like that. I can't stand anything else, Nascars, AWD's and etc..

I don't like any drift car with more then 700 HP...... but that is my only problem with any other drifters..... but i still let them on my server, just don't let them join my team in that exact car.

Is it just me that finds it really annoying when people drift cars that they don't actually drift in real life? I hate seeing someone drifting a Silvia or RX-7 or something when I know they don't actually own and drift one in real life.

seewhatididthere?

Lighten up man, it's a game. Unless you're competing in a series or drifting in an online room with certain restrictions I say use whatever you want whenever you want to.

hell I'll drift what I want when I want too. Be it 4x4 or a nascar, I mean... its a game lol.
Maybe in your own lobby.

Yeah, you say that now, but wait until somebody plows you out of the way in an veyron. I bet you'll have something to say then now won't ya?? mhmm..

Yes, of course, I'll honk my cars horn and say, "WTF?" Then I'll call a 1st gear, return to the track and continue on my merry way. If I keep getting rammed I'll call a vote kick or ask the host to kick him. If those don't work I'll just leave the room. Why stress about it?

New thread, same BS. If someone has the skill and time to learn to drift a car you can't, that's wonderful in my book. I actually get tired of lobbies full of RX-7's and Nissan cars. I like to drift LMP cars and FF cars. I usually only get a few laps before being kicked, I might add I link all corners and smoke all thru a course. I can drift them and do so well. If you have it, drift it.

I think you'd be better off saying "drifting unrealistic drift cars", because, lets be honest, non-drift cars could be almost anything in the game outside of the silvas, ae86's and so on. And that IMO, would get boring. I love to see people drift different vehicles (drifting a nascar is actually a challenge last time I did it, lol) That said, I would rather see a street car drifting than a nascar. (I would give some serious props to anyone that can drift the formula gran turismo though, lol). But yeah, interesting cars I'm fine with, but those "unrealistic" drift cars, not so much.

You don't have to drive a pink riced out car with a jumbo spoiler to have a drift car.
stock looks and any car with RWD is a drift car with and without custom suspension.

I drift everything, ranging from Peugeot 908s and Zonda Rs to NASCARs. But, I only drift one car online. And that is the NSX Type R.

Play like you want. I mean, if a black and white person went up to your house and said ''We have no where to sleep'', would you say ''**** no'' to the guy opposite to your own skin colour, JUST because he is the opposite? I wouldnt. Same with drifting. I dont care what cars other players drift with. If they can drift with their car, its completley OK.

I'd help them find accommodation as I wouldn't trust anyone I didn't know in my house

The only reason I drift RWD is because I can't drift anything else. Congrats to anyone that can and let 'em be they're not hurting you.

Havent you ever watched Top Gear, Jeremy drifts Ferrari's all the time!

But your right, it does all come down to personal preferences.

Bottom line, I'll drive any
Ferrari and drift if for fun, and that's what this game is all about 👍

My cable provider doesn't have any channels with Top Gear. :( They do however have Fifth Gear which is something like a spin-off I think. :dopey:
Also, I just remembered. Actually I too had drifted a Ferrari before. It was the 512BB. Awesome car for drifting on Eiger. 👍
But for the newer Ferrari's, never drifted them and never will. I respect that you choose to drift with a Ferrari. :)
