Drifting Trophy Question

Taken from http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/gran-turismo-5/guide/

Go to Arcade Mode -> Drift Trial -> Snow and Dirt -> Chamonix - Main.

Then chose the Ford Focus RS WRC 07 '08 and make sure it says Sector Mode in the Drift Type option. This track has 5 sectors. The first sector is the key. Your goal should be able to get 6,000 points or more in this sector. Watch your speed, and angle your car about 45º. Underneath is some point values you should aim for:

Sector 1: 6,000++
Sector 2: 1,500
Sector 3: 500
Sector 4: 500
Sector 5: 1,500

If you do it right, you can get a lot more than 10,000, but you probably need a few tries.

Thanks to Mastodon for the tip about this trophy.

Or if you don't wanna puss out, just do it on Tsukuba. Gives you plenty of corners to work with, it's not hard to do but doesn't just hand you the trophy for doing nothing like Chamonix.

The way I understand it is this, the 10.000 points are for one drift, make sure its on full lap drift, this way as long as you keep the car drifting it keeps the one count of points. The track I used for it was(Autumn Ring Mini). It took me about 10mins to get it due to the fact I cant drift for pie.........good luck with it.

It's not for a single drift, it's for a single run. You have to do it in Sector mode, not full lap.

Maybe it'll give it to you for a 10k single drift, I wouldn't know.

Like I said, Tsukuba isn't too hard since sector mode gives you every corner.

If you do full lap mode, and get a drift with more than 10k, it does not give you the trophy.

i did my very first drift race in a stock BMW M3 '08 with comfort hards at Eiger Nordwand and got over 14000 points...

I decided about a week ago that I should get it. Got 15k first crack on Tsukuba. Ended up with a best of 23k 👍

It's alot easier then you think
