Drifting Tyres, wich one do you prefer?

I can imagine that the best drifting tyres would be comfort or maybe sport, wich one are you using, comfort sof, hard, sport medium etc?

I have tried them all I guess but am still unsure of wich one to fit best. Let us know your prefered tyres when drifting..

Depends between cars, on my RX-7 & my Z4-M I have sports hard but on my MX-5 I like to use Racing Softs on the front, Hards on the rear. Just buy a mid range set - sports medium, and then try them and see how you go You'll be able to tell what is best for you once you start to get a feel for it

If you want to be doing the seasonal drift trials you need to use comforts.

Its not for guideline to get a good spot in the seasonals afterall Im not even online before a week, Im just curious on you drifters point of view. And becouse people use different set of tyres rear and front the poll dont really fit in.

WHY THE HELL do I see people putting HARD tires on the front and SOFT on the rear all the time? This is normal but I always see people with the opposite and think they must be extremely stupid to put hards on the front and softs on the rear, thats like asking for a poor and unrealistic handling car >.>

Used to swear by Comfort Softs, now I run Comfort Hards. I don't stagger my tires.

i seen a post mention racing hard on rear and racing soft on front.. what are you drifting? a 4000BHP car? that is just insane and well.. must be the hardest thing you've ever done in gt5? because its just totally ridiculous lol.. my choice is comfort hards ANY car

Comfort hards with a 390hp silvia, Comfort hard with a 700hp Mustang trans cammer. I actually find it extremly hard to drift on anything else.

Dude, TB has already been in this thread and didn't link the other thread. I know your'e only helping but i dont think moderators like people moderating when they aren't moderators... (sorry for idiotic explanation)

I feel comfort hards are the best drift tyres, regardless of power. Shifting gears can always make up for lack of or too much grip.
