dunno the song, but these are impressive drifts. do you use a special setup for that or do you know a site where i could find drift-setups?
and how long can you drift before you loose it due to the tyre-temps?

Oh yeah, I got the game now and I dont know how the hell you managed to do those long turns:drool: Very nice, but mostly, a clear sign of skill:tup::)

Hey Gabkicks, what program did you use to record that? I tried using FRAPS to record LFS once, but it was really, really, slow.

i used fraps lol. what videocard/cpu/ ram do u have? try limiting framerate to 30fps both ingame and in fraps and see if that helps. another trick is to limit fraps and lfs to 15fps and record the replay at half speed. also, run the game at 640x480 resolution. then when ur encoding it in virtuadub just double the speed.
my pc can run fraps pretty decently with lfs so i just record at 30 or higher framerate per sec.

Darn. I guess I would have to register in order to do more than 30sec clips, too, and I'm not going to pay for such a simple program...thanks for the help, though. :)

Very impressive driving, great control, but a huge file. 40 MB/min.

Why not resize the video down to something a little more reasonable, like 352x288 or 320x240?

edit: GameCam is supposed to be really good for capturing games, but the trial doesn't capture audio. Can't remember how much it costs either.

AVI take more space. I usually encode them in WMV. It take less space. I'm used to be limited to 25MB with putfile. http://www.putfile.com/mrdeap
Most of my video tough for 3min in 640*480. & my video are very viewable.

My sig with the R32 test where you see me live with the DFP long for 9min & only take 70MB encoded in 640*480.:sly:

Though I have to agree that I worked a lot with compression lately.

BTW cool video. 👍 Funny to see the DFP in the game. I wish someone do live video with the wheel with that game.💡

Size flop the same extact video in WMV 8MB

Very cool. I'm getting into drifting as well. Using LFSTweak and 200* mode on the DFP. It's a start. :) Any tips?

Yeah -- press Select + R3 + Right-paddle to switch the wheel to 900* mode, then go into the LFS options and set the wheel rotation to 900 degrees.

Presto, your DFP will now mimic the movements of the in-game wheel exactly. :)
