Drifting with new DFGT wheel - quick question

Hi,
First post so please be gentle! I'v been a fan of the GT series for ages now, and love GT5P to bits. I finally treated myself to the Logitech Driving Force GT the other day, and have a nice set-up in front of the TV on a table. Now then - drifting is annoying me big time... :grumpy: I know I am not the first to have this issue, but wanted some quick pointers.

- I would have thought the wheel would have gone 'light' at the point of drifitng to highlight the loss of traction. Every car I try snaps immediately and no corrective lock will help. It does not matter which RWD car. TC is off, PWR STRNG off, tried loads of tyre options...
- I used to drift my REAL MX-5 without too much trouble, and it's annoying me that I can't do it in a game!!
- I could do it with the control pad :ill:

If I can't do it... so be it! I am just worried that my wheel might be faulty? Made a few (other than FFeedback) odd noises since I had it and I can't tell if that's right!!

All feedback on the wheels seems okay, but whenever you drift any car (even during racing and time trials) the wheel gives NO FEEDBACK at all that this is going to, or IS happening. Until you hit the wall of course!

Any suggestions..? Am I just crap..??

I have the same wheel, and I do not have that problem, and I didnt configure anything either, you have to be really quick on the wheel remember on the pad you have full spin in a halv of a wheel in just a quarter of an inch. hope this helps

have you drifted an AWD car in real life?? I havent so i cant judge whether you are wrong or right, just curious to as if you are basing it upon experience or thought.
