Mike, will the fxxk kill the one 1 on a track court? Not p2p.

Not sure I know exactly what you're asking mate, but if it's "does the FXXK provide some actual competition for the One:1, which is practically in a league of it's own", then I think yes. It seems really quick when I raced it against a field of hyper class cars, which included the One:1. It's got insane grip for a car with such high power, which makes it much easier to drive consistently than the One:1 too. The FXX Evo is quick, but savage, so it would probably be hard to keep up with the best cars, but the FXXK and the P1 GTR are both very fast, with the edge going to the FXXK, as you don't need to constantly fiddle with KERS and DRS to get the most out of it like you do with the Macca.

Edit: Got some nice photos of the FXXK tonight too. I'll upload them in the photo section tomorrow :)

Well, that's the season pass completed. Loved racing the hyper cars in a Super car for the final Unite-In-Speed tour, although it would have been better if you needed to come first in all the races. Now I manage the Time Trial series and play more again when there's higher elite levels or a new season pass announced!

Dang! I have to admit, DriveClub is a really fun and beautiful looking racer. The updates really did made this game a lot better because I was playing it for hours on end until midnight, mostly due to how awesome the game looks, sounds and its weather effects! I'm also surprised that I've gotten used to its physics once I started playing it, and it's not so bad either since I tend to toss my cars all over the place like a mad man (feels good too :P). I don't really have anything negative to say about DC. Sure the AIs tend to beat me up a lot, but I'm already used to that thanks to other games like GT, even FH2's AI are somewhat similar to DC's.

I'll soon be playing DC again, but before doing so I was just dying to share my impressions about it with all of you as I knew I would have loved it. :embarrassed: One more important I'll say, is that DriveClub is more than just graphics.

Good to see you are having fun. I saw last night that you'd hit level 9 just before I turned in (you must be far higher by now) Good going!

Thank you MeanElf. :D So far I'm level 14 on DC, and will be excited to play and level up again once I get the TV. I've seen you were level 60 on DC, so my goal as a underdog is to reach at the same level as you and others. :)👍

Here we go! ^_^

Alright, i will check your pictures.

So we got "Fast as FXXK".

And then "FXX King Drift"

Also, a P1 GTR event called the Night's Watch.

DC's just killing us with the puns at this point.

Whoever comes up with some of those event names is an absolute genius.

I usually spot those things but the last two are flying over my head. Maybe some kind of vague acronym related Game of Thrones pun on the last one? Still stumped on the FXX pun.

FXX K looks like a censored version of the f-word.

The second one is a play on the word "****ing drift". (thus, FXX King Drift)

Yeah, the third is a Game of Thrones reference (Jon Snow is in the Night's Watch). The event itself is during the night time, and its a time trial (time=watch heh), thus the pun.

Have you tried via the in-game store. Some US players on Reddit are able to access the DLC packs that way.

It's there now (operative word there being "now" as it wasn't there in the hours I've checked prior) so we're all good. :P

Can't believe I missed the King Drift pun. Must be brain energy deficit - I better go eat something :P.

I tested all of the race cars against the zonda r and the fxx set the fastest lap time. It was two seconds slower then the koenigsegg one:1 which is actually good for a hyper race car. The p1 gtr is my favorite though. The brakes, speed, and handling is amazing where the fxx is more "extreme".

I am really enjoying the new Horsepower Pack cars. The FXX K is currently my favourite but from a preference perspective there is little to choose between the hyper class cars.

As has been said already, some of the new event names are fantastic. After I look at the new cars in Garage I always go to see what Evo have thought up this month. They are quality work.

I don't understand the whole season pass thing, is there gonna be another one for another 50 cars or is this it for paid cars?

Really don't wanna shell out another $20 for more cars...

/Is definitely gonna shell out another $20 for more cars anyway

A season pass usually covers content over a set period, no more than a year. A second one hasn't been confirmed but more cars have been mentioned by Evolution. Next month there will be at least one car (free) which is apparently something really special - more than that, we don't really know.

I'm guessing that they'll spill more info within a week or so.

I'm going to need everyone to stop talking about the DLC until us plebian American folk have it.

Kthnx.

Sorry about that mate. As an Aussie it's strange to think we're getting stuff before you guys! When I was young we'd always get games later than the US and we never used to have an R rating for games so we used to miss out altogether on some!

As far as the season pass goes, I'm more than happy with the amount of content I got for my money, and if they planned another pass for just as much content over the next year, I would have no problem giving them more money!

Alright, I haven't been keeping up with news for this game that's why I asked, thanks. 👍

I'd love to see more cars in another season pass, I was pretty happy with everything that they added.

I think, and this has been going on for a few years now, that developers are beginning to recognize where their "core" audience is and are distributing accordingly. I think it's a brilliant idea...until it's something I want.

Ain't that the truth.

I'm just happy that Aussies have finally got an R rating for video games. We were behind the rest of the world for far too long in the videogame industry. Of the 12 PS4 games I own, 6 of them are R rated

Need more tracks...

I'd guess that if they plan on supporting the game with another year of DLC, that they will add at least one more location, which would bring a couple of point-to-points, and two or three closed circuits, with variations of each.

You know you need to stop playing Driveclub so much when you have a dream they added the Phillippines as a location. My family would be concerned.
