Driver 1- Secret Newcastle Level!

On Driver 1, there is a secret Newcastle level. This is a video I have found on youtube!

Why is so much of this city blocked off by big boards. You can only seem to drive around in a small area!

Yeah its not a huge area but what you get is fun. Theres a cheat code to get it on PC, not sure on console.

I'm not sure there is. By the way the car is a Jaguar. You probably guessed already though!

Edit: Are there any police on this level and can you use the replay function?

And this isnt on the PS1 version like many people say it is. I looked for it for ages, but never found it.

I'm pretty sure it is. I read somewhere that you have to complete the game without using any cheats. One thing I noticed though, when you look past the blocked off area's, there is still game modelling. Do you think this game could have been origanilly planned to be a level on the game.

Oh well. Better pop down to a game shop and buy the PC version then hadn't I. I really want to find this city!

I cant remember there being police and No you cant use the replay function, its very very basic. Although I did something once, I crashed into a a specific spot on the bridge entrance (read it somewhere) and my car kinda bounced outside the barrier allowing me to roam.

As for the PS1, you cant drive it on the PS1, but you will see it at the end credits with the jag going round it.

Edit: I just used a cheat to bring the credits up. I saw the jag driving around Newcastle.
