Driver Duel Championships

This is probably the hardest trophy to get. You wait forever in the higher rounds to find an opponent and if you do so, you probably get rammed off the track anyway.

So I thought we could maybe help ourselves a bit here. I am currently in the semi final round. If anybody is in the same round and let me win, I would be happy to offer any needed help to come back to the semifinal and win it. Since the first 2-3 rounds are relatively easy to pass and there are not alot of people online for driver duels, it shouldnt be a problem to find each other, let the other win.

Request: Let me win the semifinal. Reward: Once I won the trophy, I will lose, play my way back up and let you win any race from round 3 on to the semifinal. Or let you win in the final round.

There are also players here that already won it that are willing to let you win the final round.

But if You're not worried about Autolog leadership, add me and I will gladly give those driver duels away...I think I'm on the semi-finals right now(I only play this mode if there is no one online in other modes).

I might be wrong but I remember reading somewhere you can't play driver duels with your friends...

We can test this later on. If you see me online, PM me to start the driver duel.

Just so you know the "Final" round isn't the last round. Championship is...I beat someone in the "Finals" and was alright awesome, finally finished with this BS...no trophy, wtf. I go into it again, and see that "Championship" is another round.

Luckily, the guy I faced in Championship had already won and didn't ram me or anything.

sure, I'll even give the full driver duel championship experience which includes:

first corner punt
chicane cutting and wall riding
blocking and cutting you off when passing

I dont give a flying frog as long as I cross the finish line first - I just hope to not get a bug I ve experienced in another duel in the earlier rounds: The race started and was over after 1 second as we crossed the finish line...

i made thw qualification round and i can't even find people online to get to the next stage.. However i can't drift so i won't be able to get the platinum even with this trophy boosted

Yeah sometimes you have to wait loooong for opponents... Early evening hours are best, when most people are online. Between 6 and 10pm CET. But even then its not a lot of people.

You just need to be faster than the schmocks. Shouldnt be a problem for you!

Also look at the opponents and especially the car/track combo. Be sure to accept a duel where the first 2 corners are not too good for ramming people off. Also: When getting rammed instantly press reset and be aware of the schmocks position all the time. Its hard but if I can make it to the championship round you can do so too!

there is a method to boost the trophy, two people with 5 accounts on each ps3. it tooks 6 hour and both have the trophy. i really don't understand how it works but i found it on a site for ps3 trophies.

Maybe this will help others so in steps very easy Driver Duel trophy.

It's based on saving your progress every time you win battle that puts you higher and closer to Championship Crown. Winning is not easy but at least you don't have to climb up from bottom every time you loose.

1. go to on line / Driver Duel Championship
2. try to win qualifying round, and if you succeed then quit Shift 2 game, go to XMB and make back up copy of your Shift 2 save file !!!

3. try to win Round 2 and if you succeed then again, quit Shift 2 game and make back up.

4. If you loose, then simply go to XMB and use your previous save file so you don't have to start allover again.

Repeat those steps every time you win and climb higher For this reason you never start from bottom again
