Driver Names

Is it just me or does everyone want to make custom driver names?

Obviously, but then all kinds of obscene names would come up during Remote Races, wouldn't it? I think a long list of names to choose from would be good too.

My answer isn't up there as a poll choice. And that answer is... hell :censored:ing yes! Maybe the reason why you can't name your racer is probably for copyright purposes or something. You know, who would want to make a pathetic B-Spec racer and name him (or her) after a real-life racer? This, even though I've raced against AI racers who had names like "D.Hobbs" (David Hobbs?) and "M.Cho" (comedian Margaret Cho?) before? I'd really love to make proper B-Spec racers that I can edit the names to.

But... I guess since B-Spec Racers are meant to be mostly generated, you barely have any control over certain aspects of your B-Spec racers. Maybe this changes in a patch or something...

I passed S. Vettel and S. Perez but ended up finding my own name N. Grant, I had never seen that one come up before.

Then I retired another driver and found H.(enri) Toivonen, he and A. Senna were at the top of my most wanted list.

I passed the entire Top Gear crew when naming my second driver. R. Hammond, J. May, J. Clarkson, and T. Stig.
