Driver Rating bugged?

Is the DR bugged? I have driven many races where I gained several places and driven 100% clean (all green SR sectors) my SR went up to A but my DR is still stuck at D.

What's up with that?

You can check your driver rating in more detail by going to your profile. Under the Driver Rating you also have a progress bar. You can check if it moves at all.

Yeah bit barely moves even though I gain places during the race. Haven't won a race yet because I haven't qualified fast enough. Most of the time I start at 7/8/9 and finish around 5 or 6th place.

My SR is working because I just became SR rating S. But my DR is stuck at D..

I won two races from pole and set fastest laps, it didn’t move, then I jumped in challenge stuff for a bit came back and it had jumped a level and a half... I think it’s slow to update

I guess the DR change must factor in who you’re racing against as well.

If you’re B and you beat a load of Cs that won’t be worth as much as beating As.

I’m not sure though. Mine went to B but I wasn’t gaining places much and in fact it went to B after I deliberately dropped to the back of a Suzuka race to recover a bruised SR...

Most of the people I race against are DR C or B. Because I have SR S, I'm racing against comparable SR ratings and they are all having high DR ratings. Except me.

I’ve managed finals to get away from the Crash Bandicoot brigade and got a 3rd and first,

My specs haven’t changed until I got 5 black screen disconnections on the trot having to kill the game and reload, all these happened at matchmaking and now my DR has nosedived dramatically.

I've won 4 or 5 of these GT4 races at Suzuka East and my progress bar shows no improvement from the E level... This was from the day the game released so I'd think there would be plenty of time for it to update.

I'm not the best in the world but I'm definitely not E-pace. Qualifying lap is a 52.4 to give you an idea.
