Hey everyone! A quick question I searched for the answer to but couldn't find, if I may ask.

I've increased my SR to A although my DR bar isn't increasing. I just had a race with the clean race bonus but the bar under my initial rating (E) hasn't increased.

In GT Sport mode, if someone just taps your car does it take away your clean race bonus? And how do I raise my DR? Give cars a wide berth on overtaking just incase they clip you? I drive clean obviously so wondered why it's not going up.

Links or tips to improve this would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

It will stay at E until you've finished 5 races. The best way to make it go up is to finish in the top half of the field.

The clean race bonus is kind of an unpredictable beast.

Generally staying on track (2 wheels within the white line) not brushing any walls and avoiding all contact will get you the bonus. Yet perhaps some tracks are bugged since it doesn't always trigger.

However, you can still get the clean race bonus after getting punted off track or into a short cut or wall. As long as the accident is ruled not your fault you will keep the clean race check.
You can still get the clean race bonus with minor shortcut penalties as long as you don't go fully off track.
You can get the clean race bonus with a red SR rating as long as you didn't get any SR Downs in the race.

You raise DR by beating drivers of higher DR than you or simply by finishing in the top half if everyone is equal.

For every driver you finish in front of you gain 80 points plus the difference between their and your DR divided by 500.
For every driver you finish behind you lose 80 points minus the difference between their and your DR divided by 500.

If you beat a DR.A player (40k) as a DR.B player (20K) you gain 80 + 40 points.
If you beat a DR.C player (5K) as a DR.B player (20K) you only gain 80 - 30 points.

Of course you lose less the higher the player is that beats you, yet finished behind lower drivers will lose you more points.

Here you can see your exact DR and that of everyone else

No. The DR is linked only to Sport Mode (so daily and FIA races) results. The normal lobbies won't affect your ratings either but some hosts might restrict them to just higher levels.
