This is what the teams spent this year on those drivers:

So Ferrari have spent fifty odd million pounds on what? Not a lot this year and have been trounced in the championship but two teams which spent a third combined of what Ferrari sent :scared::scared::scared:

Hey Ferrari :ouch::ouch::ouch:

So Ferrari have spent fifty odd million pounds on what?
Dollars.

And it's actually Marlboro that pay the Ferrari drivers' wages, not Ferrari.

And if Ferrari supply him with a rubbish car, no amount of wages will make him drive it any quicker.

GM
So Nakajima and Sutil have done a whole season with no pay?

They are paid by sponsors - they are pay drivers. I know for a fact that Sutil brings sponsors to FI and Nakajima is naturally backed by a manufacturer (Toyota), like all Japanese drivers.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Jenson and Rubens are getting paid more in winnings and sponsorships than what that chart indicates... Ferrari have always been the Yankees of F1... instead of cultivating a driver, they just buy the best out there at the moment.
