What's good GTP!!!

Are you a solo racer that enjoys the rewards of driving your favorite cars to their limit? I will be holding an event that not only tests driving skills but mental skills as well. This event will be a tag match, open to all racers no matter your skill level. The only things will not be tolerated is complaining and cheating. This event is set out for car lovers, pro drivers, drifters, touge racers, beginning drivers, enthusiasts or anyone that just want a good challenge; that and to have fun; while meeting other drivers around the world through friendly competition. Though as any tag match, the max runners per match will be 2 per team. If your interested sign your psn name and availability on this thread. After that I will email everyone further information about this event and when it will be held.

It seems like this belongs in Spot Races, unless you're trying to make this a group that would do tag races on a regular basis, and if you want people to sign-up you should post all of the information in the thread. Otherwise we might think you don't have all of the details worked out yet. What's a tag match? Is it a relay race? How will it work? What cars will be used? How long will it take? What date and time will it take place? What will be considered cheating?

I'm hope I'm not coming off as critical, I sometimes do without meaning to be. I'm just trying to help you and let you know if you explained the answer to my questions we all would have the information to decide if we want to take part. The questions just show my interest level in this.

Thanks bro and no you're not coming off as critical, since this group is new all feedback is well critical to becoming more successful with my goal of promoting friendship and sportsmanship in a orderly fashion.

I do have my details and the reason I didn't outline it as yet was because I didn't want just anyone try to steal an idea unless they came directly to the source rather trying to recreate something that they have no idea how it's done. If to clear things up here's the details.

Tag Races

2 teams, 2 racers each
Driving on different tracks featured in GT5. It is like a relay race but start points are marked and both teams are instructed to be at those points. The first run starts as a forward run and until either racer passes his teammate after clearing his run, the other member does not drive off. Car drives that can be used are FF, FR, MR, AWD and RR. All cars must race within their respected classes. If by chances exotics are to be used then a designated HP will be set in addition to a tyre selection.Special Track conditions are set according to the theme of each event. Standard settings consist of pro settings, but if beginners are entering settings for those races will be set for their parameters. Drivers that use wheels and DS3 are welcome, not being biased for this club. Night races will be conducted in addition to races with interesting conditions. These events truly test each driver's skill and know-how of driving.

Cheating: (1) Hacked cars that have engine or suspension mods. Body or color designs will be allowed. In addition to drive swaps, it will be allowed since all drives are allowed. (2) Dirty driving, come on I'm not advertising a demolition derby, this is why MAX damage will be set. All driver's must show that not only do they have skill, but that they can keep a car intact through tough races. (3) Cutting corners, as said before I'm not running a demolition derby. If the driver can not drive on a professional level then don't attempt to drive beyond one's means. (4) Picking cars out of class at the last minute at the attempt to get an EASY win. All of these will result in disqualification.

Note: Drifting does not count as a form of dirty driving in anyway or fashion. If one can not drift or react to someone's drifting any damage will result in a DNF.

Any other questions?

This will be the main one, the others were posted in different venues to help broaden my audience. Do you think leaving it here is easier?

Yes, the second driver on the team does not take off? So how will the final results be scored? Also I would recommend running 1 lap at least so you can have times.

there will be a warm-up sessions going both directions for both teams. the other driver can not take off, until his partner passes him at his starting point. the TA will be done during their practice runs to record their times, during the head to head pace changes everything during the race.

Oh, ok. You didn't have the "until his partner passes him" part, so I wasn't sure.
