tbh it's not that exspensive, Logitech RRP price is £119.99 so Tgrav have cut that by £20 if you remember when the Driving Force Pro was released it was £100

i ordered mine altogther £106 from Tgrav only place to buy it and it comes available in under 2 weeks

Yup you are right, RRP is £119.99, so £99.99 aint to bad!

However, they are not the only place to order it! GAME are also taking pre-orders, and their site says it will be released in 12 days.

Thats £130, not £120.....

You can get a new G25 from Amazon or Dabs.com for £150, I would happilly pay the extra £20 or £30 for the peace of mind that its from a major online reatailer who I can trust.

I've ordered one from the logitech website (UK), and when I go to check my order status, it's down as "new order".

What does that actually mean? Any idea when I can expect this to arrive in the post?

Why dont you call Logitech and ask?? They will be able to give you a 100% definate answer, where as we can only speculate.

Im guessing "new order" means just that....its a new order that has been placed on their system....

Import tax depends on how lucky you are. Also I know people who imported PS3's from the US. Most of them never got taxed, and the one's who did, it was only about £17....for a PS3!!

With regards to the plug, that MIGHT be a problem. My G25 power adapter says it can take an input of 100 - 240v (US is 110v and UK is 230v), but my DFP says it can only take between 200 - 240v!

So if his is the same as my DFP he will need to either buy a step-down transformer or buy a power adapter from Maplins, etc which outputs the correct voltage and sufficient current (24v, 0.75A for the DFP and 24v, 1.75A for the G25).

IF his plug can handle 100v - 240v then all it means is that to plug it in he just needs to push something into the earth socket in the wall (top one) to open up the live & neutral ones on the bottom (they are covered up until the earth pin on a plug pushes them open.....this is a saftey thing), then he can just push the plug in and remove whatever he inserted into the earth pin to open the live & neutral pins.
