Driving Force Gt Drifting

I've had a Driving Force GT for at least half a year, and it just broke. I started practicing and drifting pretty well with it for about a month. Now, IU have a new one, and when I set my force feedback to 10, the steering is still too soft, and I always oversteer too much without control over it. Help, anyone?

Throttle control? Are you feathering the pedal enough just to keep the traction breaking? or are you holding it at a certain RPM?
