Driving line, on or off?

I was just wondering whether people use the driving line on GT5P or not. I only ask because I'd always assumed people would turn it off straight away (first thing I turned off out of all the driver aids), as it is unrealistic. I was quite surprised to see in a replay of a race however, that at least one of our very quick drivers was using it (I'm not sure how much notice of it they were actually taking).

I'm not slating anyone who does or doesn't use the driving line, just wondering whether to turn it back on myself to maybe improve my snails pace driving! I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this.

I have never used the driving line and I never will. Afterall real drivers don't have a nice big line on the track to show them when to brake. Sure the line might make me faster or it might distract me too much. I don't know and I am not going to use it to find out.
