Hello to everyone and welcome to the official thread for the DRRGTC Season 2!
It has been almost 4 years since the original run of the DRRGTC back on Gran Turismo 6, using modified road cars to replicate their real life GT4 counterparts, but with the current vehicles available to us with GT Sport, we can have actual race cars, as well as a new class added into the mix: TCR!
With these two classes being separated by pace by a couple of seconds a lap on track, there may not be many chances of lapped traffic, but not impossible with the lengths of the events we have planned, and the overall pace being brought down from the faster vehicles of say, GT3, GTE, Prototypes, etc. of other series, a lot of close racing is expected to happen within both classes!
With GT4, we will have manufacturers of BMW, Ford, McLaren and Porsche, while the TCR class will comprise of the Renault and Volkswagen FF GR.4 racers, and extensive testing is currently being done to provide a competitive group of cars! And with 6 events on this calendar to span over a short 3 month run, we hope to provide a fun experience for any and all teams and drivers who decide to participate!
